The Room

Forty-two seats. One unmarked door.

We don't have a sign. The front of the building is a record store; the back of the building is us. Look for the brass tiger on the alley door, knock once, and you're in.

The room sits forty-two — a long copper bar, six booths in oxblood leather, a four-top in the back near the kitchen pass. Music is low. Phones at the table, off the table, your call.

The bar at Blind Tiger

The Press

What others have said.

"
The most assured cocktail program in the state — and a kitchen that's quietly turning out some of the best small plates in downtown SLC.

Salt Lake Magazine

— Annie Pearce

"
If you can find it, go. Blind Tiger isn't trying to be a scene. It just is one.

Eater Mountain West

— Devon Walsh

"
A bar that takes itself seriously without taking itself too seriously. The duck is reason enough. The Edison is reason number two.

No formal code. Most guests land somewhere between smart-casual and dressed-up. Wear what feels right; we won't turn you away for jeans.

We hold roughly a third of the room for walk-ins each night, prioritized at the bar. Reservations are strongly recommended Thursday–Saturday.

No. 03 Where do I park? +

Metered street parking on Edison and 200 South after 6pm. The Regent garage (entrance on Regent Street) is a 90-second walk and validates with a meal receipt.

No. 04 Are kids allowed? +

We're a 21+ room after 8pm. Before 8pm, well-behaved children are welcome at booths, though our menu and lighting tend to suit grown-ups better.
